Born in Ancient Greece, Malika was an Amazon of the highest order. Being an Amazon, she did not know who her parents were or knew of her true heritage. All Amazons are accepted into the tribe as daughters of the elders.

For 23 years, Malika fought alongside the Amazons, killing those who threatened their rule. During a battle, the Queen of their tribe, Melena, was mortally wounded. As she lay dying on the battle field, Malika kneeled by her side and was given the rite of passage to be the new Queen. But only mere moments into her new position, arrows seared through her, rendering her immobile and susceptible to their adversaries. She and the remaining amazons were taken into slavery.

Malika's slavery did not last long before she was discarded and left under a pyre of bodies of her fellow amazons. She soon died from the crushing weight and fire. Yet from the fire, she was born again. However her soul was away from her body, Hades(God of the Underworld) cursed her in such a way that each time her body was ressurected, her memories would not return, never allowing her to be able to reach her full potential.

Years passed and the Greek gods mysteriously vanished, leaving the curse still upon Malika. She traveled the world for centuries, adopting new identities and experiencing new things, good and bad. Towards the end of the 19th century, she met a man named Charles Reznor. He took her in and turned her into a spy for his company, The Organization. This company began as a type of secret organization working for the government and later the world, ensuring the safety of the human race, while also keeping the world from falling completely into devastation. Malika later became a trained assassian. Her body was also sold to various compaines and governements. At one point, she was sold to the U.S. government and part of her DNA was used to create a child who was later known as HappyLittleMoron, among many, many others.

Years passed and so did advancements in technology. Malika took on the code name of Phoenix-gal(PG). Bruce, Charles's grandson, implanted a computer chip within her brain, allowing her to keep her memories after her "deaths". Though, if she ever betrayed Bruce in any way, the chip would act as a disciplinary device.

As the technology advanced, so did the Organization's reach, soon they became involved in missions far reaching outside of the normal galaxy. During her time working with the Organization, PG met BlackWulf and both had an instant attraction. They had went on a mission to an alien world in search of an intergalactic criminal, Jakal. While they did not find Jakal, they found his family. In a fit of rage from the family's protection of a murderous psycho, PG became no better than Jakal and killed his family.

Jakal later got vengenance upon her by kidnapping her and BlackWulf. Both were tortured beyond what normal humans can withstand. Then, having PG watch, Jakal murdered BlackWulf. This sent her mind into a downward spiral. She was later rescued by other members of the Organization, and for a little over a year, she made sure to torture her victims before killing them. Allowing her darker self to rule her mind, which was growing stronger.

She continued working for the Organization for a few years after the incident with Jakal. However, each year, Jakal would return like clockwork to kidnap PG and inflict torture upon a never dying individual.

On one particular mission for the Organization, PG was sent to record everything that occurred within the lair of the Ninja Turtles. Bruce never suspected that she would become friends with any of them, let alone fall in love with an alien, Terror.

Donatello possessed an artifact known as the BOX, which held incredible power. The BOX helped in the removal of the chip from PG's mind and gave her her entire memory.

With her memory of 3,000 years, came the power that was rightfully hers. Being the daughter of a god, Ares, PG was granted the power of the mind... psionics.

Later, during a mission to save Terror and defeat an army, PG was taken over by the Phoenix Force and it has eternally bonded itself with her, the one true avatar.As years past, she also took over as Goddess of Life when the New Gods took control over Olympus. Life also changed when she was dragged to what is called the Dark Dimension, where Lord Dormammu took her as a daughter in hopes of using her to enter this dimension. In doing so, he gave mer additional powers of darkness, which if she doesn't stay under full control of, will destroy the barrier and allow her "father" to enter this realm.

Phoenix has continued her life, living between two worlds. One of both good and evil. Split between the love of her soulmate and the love of her friends.
