Donatello (sometimes shortened to Don or Donnie) is one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT). His bandanna is known to be purple. Donatello is the "brains" of the Turtles being that he is fairly studious and industrious. He has become a reasonable "Mr. Fix-It." He can repair just about anything, and is also fortunate to have a knack for inventing gadgets and machines. Of the four TMNT, he is the most reserved, beng a little too preoccupied with his own thoughts, though he is still very attentive to his family and friends' needs. He wields the bo (six foot staff) and is a master at his discipline of Ninja Juhakkei.

Donatello, over the last ten years has been put through many trials of sanity. It has been let known, based on a birthmark upon his body, he has been chosen by destiny as the next and final Devil. To his surprise, Heaven and Hell exist and Hell is seeking him out to be the devil in training for the next twenty years.

While this knowledge has crushed him, Donatello still perseveres, having married an alien turtle humaniod, TurtleNinja, and having two children, Kirby and May.
